Loving this build so far
Ok got the engine back last week and spent today preping and painting it in 2K sting red, I will give it 2 coats of clear later tonight.

ok cleaned up the engine bay.
Bolted on the accessories today ready to fit back in the car tommorrow.
I bit more progress today but the wet weather held me up a lot + my air compressor broke down and that took 2 hrs to fix.
here are some pics of my day.
First I did a trial of some mulberry pearl paint on the extractors.
But I decide it was a bit girly so i went for a Gold Pearl on the extractors and a sivler pearl on the Highflow cat pipes.
Im pretty happy with the outcome.
Also did a port & polish on the throttle body, its as smooth as a babies bottom inside now.
Pulled the auto trans apart and cleaned it , and fitted a new filter and pan gasket, i also drained the converter and refilled it with new dex 3 and fitted back on the trans.

That looks awesome. I love the gold pearl. I reckon the rocker covers would look really good in the gold or silver pearl aswell.
Thanks Mick1, my wife didn't like it either, she said it would suit our daughters pushbike though .lol
VX R8 that was my thought as well, I will be doing the valve covers in the gold pearl later on.

OTR looks cool, hav you had it tuned? How does it go? Happy?
It had a quick mafless tune done yesterday but it has still got a fair bit of tuning to be done when I fit bigger injectors and a Hi stall. Yes Im happy with it ,but I'll be a lot happier when she gets a few runs at the drags.
Tidying up the brakes, fresh disc's and painting the calipers. waiting on some new QFM pads to arrive.
