Sand it out with 800 paper and put one more coat of clear on it mate
Hey guys
I posted this elsewhere so if you have read it I appologise
Been painting my new Brembos to match my current theme. This is the result of one of them
Problem is that I got a bit carried away with the clear on the other one and it has done this
Notice where the clear has pooled in the middle of the lower face. How should I go about trying to remove that.
The way I painted these was to roughen up the calipers with a scothchbrite, apply a primer, paint the colour (not heatproof) and then heatproof clear. I worked on the principal of the existing brakes on the car. The existing stock brakes had a heatproof applied, then a different colour heatproof applied 12 months later and then this simple green from Bunnings. In just under 12 months, the green from Bunnings is still going strong. Using that theory, I figured the silver of the existing Brembos, plus primer, coats of green and heatproof primer should be sufficient. We'll see.
Have you got a solution for the pooling of clear? I'd love to hear. I thought of just using some wax and grease remover and then applying some more clear or would I be better off simply rubbing back with scotchbrite, some more green and then clear

no sand it out with 1500/2000 and then 4000 if you can get your hands on it and then polish no need to repaint
Thanks guys
However, it has appeared to keep drying and I question if I should attempt a fix or simply or leave it. The photo I posted above was after 20 mins of drying and it simply seemed it wasnt going to dry.
Now, after a bit more, the 'moun' is still there but it has gotten smaller and the 'cloudiness' is going. Perhaps I should just leave it for now and see how it dries for the rest of the day.
Thanks for your comments. They will be taken under advisement if I do need to correct it.
Cheers
Put a spot light or some sort of heat light over it and that will help it dry out flat
so my idea of hair dryer WAS working... Thats the only thing I had done that I didnt mention
