    Yeah we have mining trucks emptying bins in our suburb too, LOL.

    These pics have been doing the rounds! First saw them a while back. Apparently trans shifted from 6th to first while at full noise (they shouldn't do this by the way, they shift through all gears, revving between changes if slowing down with the engine and small retarder applications, or will quickly go through them if stopping quickly with no rev between gearchanges.)

    In this case, it sounds like the tranny decided to go from 6th to 1st under full engine load, which means for once the bonehead driving is not at fault! A few things might have caused this, possibly the ecm got a signal to say the body was up, which locks the tranny into 1st (so the operator can't go down a haul road at full noise with the tub up!) Would have been good to see the download after that one!

    Any other theories to what happened? I think the bonehead would have needed a fresh pair of jocks after that happened!
