    Interesting thanks! How many passes do you reckon each set did and what sort of pressures were you running please? Big burnouts each time?

    The one drew pointed out here - just in a 17x9

    Haven't worked out how many runs actually.
    FIrst set lasted a bit over a season and the current set didn't quite see the season out.

    Yes they need a reasonably good bit of heat in them to work so it's always a reasonable burnout, otherwise they will either spin or tramp.

    They seam to hook up best at 21psi, however this does vary with the track condition.
    On a really well prepared track I've had them hook up with 26psi.

    However the original 245/40/18 M/T's needed to be down to about 15psi to work and this was with less power than the current combo.

    Hi Drew, yeh I've got AP Racing 6 and 4 piston calipers.

    Factory 17" wheels should fit, however I haven't tried, but 275/40/17's are a bit too small in diameter anyway.

    i rang round all day to day and apparentlly there is no such thing as a 17x9 for the ve i can get 17x8 but im wanting to run 275/40/17 mt street radials will it be safe to put that tyre on a 8'' rim for drags only
