I would also say with 99% certainty that the Raptor was not fitted by Chev, as stated by someone who seemed to know the car???The only blowers I've ever seen Chev fit in the 5 years I've been going there are Harrops.
As someone else said it sounds like the previous owner became aware of potential serious problems so sold the car before they occurred for him.![]()

If you seriously believe that a supercharger had nothing to do with your engine going bang. then you are in for one hell of a rude awakening with modified engines. Of course it contributed, on any forced induction engine.. and i mean ANY, when it goes bang. the FIRST place to look if the massive air pump on the front of it. Especially a raptor, they may seem to be ok by you looking it over, but i seriously doubt if your eye has a built in set of vernier calipers that can measure down to tenths of a millimetre, or can see if blades on a compressor are balanced. Not having a go at you at all, but don't be so quick to rule of the single biggest contributing factor to your engine dying or you will be up for another very expensive rebuild when it goes bang again.

No worries at all. Maybe when the time comes and I am looking for parts I might give you a list to see what you can do for me? =)
While I can see why you want to keep the blower... If I were you I would "fix" it, then sell it... Then buy a harrop
I hope it's one of these, actually I want to quad supercharge (thats 4x power!!), do you have any in stock?
