It's good to see will davidsons career go from strength to strength, and I was not happy when HRT ditched him.

The top three runners tyre choice made the last 30 laps very interesting on an otherwise boring as batshit track.

The WASCC and their $12m spend on the upgrades got a big tick from me...especially when I know what it used to be like in the early days. The pits facilities were awesome !!!

Pity the starting grid is still not wide enough to get a car down the middle without tearing a door off....

Here are some of my pics from Saturday:

    And EPIC fail...

Mrs surprised me with grandstand tickets for Sunday, we had a great day watching the cars, glad the rain held out and the sun was shining. She was pretty impressed with the noise of the V8s being there live, and the racing was great.

I was a little devo about Tander's run on the weekend, especially after being turned around on the Saturday, but found it interesting to watching him climb the field Sunday arvo after pitting and giving away his horrible position to get on some soft tyres for 15 laps. Looks like he well and truly got back to his position or higher, he was slicing through the field with really good pace on those tyres, but too little too late I guess.

Certainly different and a lot more sober being in the stands this yr compared to corporate last year but very enjoyable none the less and the new pit setup looks fantastic. Some awesome sideways moments trying to pull the cars up to 40km/h in there too.

Bit of a "cool story bro"

My little brother was at Hog's Breath Cafe, place had bugger all people in it. Who should bowl in? Whincup, Lowndes and closely followed but what could be the rest of Team Vodafone. Might have to remember that for next year folks!

Mmmmmmm, now I want a steak.
