Driving an Aston GT4 around Yas!

i was luckily enough to get to drive an aston martin gt4 around the yas marina f1 circuit (shortened track) a week ago. it was my first ever time on a track so i was pretty excited and happy with the day! such a great experience and so much fun.

NOTE: the speedo on the screen says kmh but its actually mph (aston v8s dont do 140kmh on a 1km+ straight pretty cool doing 235kmh but they enforced very early braking zones (which is completely fair enough as basically anyone who paid could get a drive if they pre-booked early enough)

check out the video below (just a clip from the bigger video they gave me)

the one i did started off with 2 sighting laps and basically 3500rpm or less (but they let you open it up a bit if it looks like your in control) and then you can open it up for 10mins. you then have 2 laps to let everything cool down a bit since its so hot there and then you go again for 10 mins. they usually only let you pass on the straight (back) but a few times around i was allowed to go pass others on different parts of the track. there was an instructir in each car so they advise you to slow down / speed up depending on whos around you and so on

it was fantastic...you wont regret it!
