new project, vk ls1

hi all, new to this forum and commodores and ls1's lol but thought i would post up a bit about my new project

basically its a vk that im going to put an ls1 and 4l60 in, will be stock for the time being until i get it engineered and driven for a couple of months to iron out any bugs, then i will do some go fast business to it.
anyway here it is...

to start, 1984 vk sl, injected 6, traumatic etc. in pretty good unmolested condition (minus the springs, pod filter, and exhaust) interior is immaculate and only has a small amout of rust under the back window (usual place im told) paid $700 for it

i found a brock grill for it so thats just sittin there for the time being, and also got a few more parts in transit (hurry up postman lol) new pro ratchet shifter, ls1-vk tough mounts and also got a wk caprice ls1 with 114tho kays on its way (hurry up couriers lol)
once i do my tax i will try to get the starter relocation kit and a tranny.
i already have a vl intermediate shaft, vn power steer rack, and a vs k-frame (i have to pick the k-frame up yet)

will post some more pics when i get the stuff. any questions, suggestions, shoot away!

ok small update, havent done anything to the car, been crook as a dog, however i did find some motivation to go pick something up....



also my new shifter got delivered, only a shifter but ile throw up a pic of it as well lol

it is a lovely fruit bowl, missus is rather chuffed with it lol

havent been on for a while, so bit of an update.
had engine running in mates workshop on their stand. all is good with that side.
running gear is totally gutted and rear windscreen removed to asses the rust situation.

i now have my vn k-frame, and started a new job today as a concrete truck/dump truck/loader driver, is only a casual job but full time hours so the dollars will be good, plus regular saturday O/T. will do for the time being until something permanent pops up.
as usual cant bloody win though, more dollars for bits, no bloody time to do anything though now!!
