...ps...and enjoy, chances are very minor indeed you will break anything imho.
I was concerned about the traction control off as my Calais-V came with a 2.9 open center rear diff, which usually equals a single spinning smoke show, imho at least with the traction control on the rear brakes are balancing torque on the rear wheels for more traction, I will have to try both, cheers for the other tips.

I was also a little worried about how much the auto could take, after i got it tuned at powertorque at brendale it went like shit off a shovel but i also noticed the auto shifting harder (taking off on WOT) but i've noticed sometimes i hear thump in the rear of the car when it shifts 1st to 2nd on WOT so with the extra surface traction at the drags this would be worse

It will shift harder .........But no issues to report here off PT tune launching VE Maloo runs 11.7 while using a 5K high stall behind self same stock
Mechanical A6 )...Vehicle now closing 4 years old.......and running 120mph plus on R888's....zero issues

Ps ...3.46 or 3.7 diff gears will be your best friend here..and on the highway..plus city......unless you have big cam plans

I would love to find a 3.46 LSD for the right price but trying to sell the wife to change the diff when there is nothing wrong with the old one just for the reason that i want to be more of a hoon, not an easy sell lol.

Just book it in to the mechanics to get it changed and don't tell the wife. On the day you take it there, you call the wife saying there was a bad noise from the back and you have had to take it to the mechanics to get it looked at. Later on tell her something in the diff went and you are getting it fixed. She doesn't need to know it comes out with a new ratio, and LSD.

Remember to tell her how lucky you were cause they had the parts in stock and gave you a great discount.

No irony here mate! Sometimes people just over complicate it haha. Nothing wrong with 6x 11.00x in one meet. Tends to make the competition a little nervous
