A "lemon" is a car that continually keeps needing ongoing repairs at regular intervals, or the one fault can't be fixed after repeated efforts. Recalls or reworks are usually done on cars with no obvious symptoms, and quite probably could have lived a full life without an issue appearing at all.
Even your favourite brand has numerous recalls and reworks...
Yep thats what the advetura is buddy...like ten recalls in its short history...THATS why its not here anymore. And my point was pity anyone who has a lemon car which also is recalled that much.

lol for your info bro my fav actually scored the best in a recent independant new car review. All complaints from new car buyers left them number one with the fewest comlaints. Your favourite just scrapped into the top ten from memory so i guess that makes me NOT a looser

Points 1 and 2 are enough to put me off.
    1) I think the perception is the locals are not as well made, but the reality is generally they are pretty good, I had a Falcon wagon company car for 3 years from 2006 to 2009 - 75,000Km only problem I had was gthe as fuel sender gauge and brakes could do with machining or new discs. I also had a VY wagon for 3 years prior and no problems that I remember just routine servicing and wiper blades.

    2) Again this is perception and probably true, but not restricted to local big cars, my daughter had a 2009 Lancer sold early this year a VR model manual 2.5 years old cost about $26.5K in 2009, immaculate condition no accidents etc, no dealer would offer more than high 10's as a trade in. Son had a December 09 Mazda 6 Classic manual sedan only about 18 months old when traded 50,000Km, can't get better than $19K as a trade - car would have cost at least $35K new.

    3) I think this is pretty true, but if you need a family sized car, the Falcon (say FG XR6) or Commodore is a very good thing. Pretty good value as say 2 year old used car purchase.
