Adventra cross trac and rolling diameter difference

Just wondering if anyone knows what sort of difference in rolling diameter between front and rear it takes to upset the crosstrac system on the adventras.

I'm looking at 275/30/20 rear and 245/30/20 front which is a difference of 2.66% according to the 1010 tyre calculator.

If i go back to 225/35/20 front (which i would rather not) the difference is only 1.08%

I don't want to fit the 245 and have the front brakes clamping on around corners etc. and i don't want to hurt the transfer case either.

What is everyone else running on their addy/ava with staggered 20's?

    Cheers, Michael.

I can not remember where I read it but below 3% difference it was. I ended up getting really close around 1.5% or so with 255/35/19 fronts and 295/30/19 rear. Look good with the wide tyre tyres too. Front are 98 load rated and rear 106 from memory. Good option in the 245 and 255 region with load rating with 19s but kick up to 20s and you will need the SUV type profile which may not suit

The 225 will be a stretch though.

So I guess i will give the 245/30 a go and hope for the best. I really didn't want to go with the 225 as stated they look stretched, as for load rating 93H is all that is required on the addy so there are a few options ie Achilles ATR etc.
Will 245/35/20 fit on the front without rubbing the strut on the addy? Better load rating and within 1%

Yes 245/35/20 fit on Adventra. On My old LX8 I had a set of VE SuperSports with 245/35/20 all round No rubbing.

Is the spring seat to wheel centre a bit longer on the addy, it looks like there is a fair bit of room with the standard wheels/tyres on there? Looks to be about 15mm between back of tyre and seat and approx 30-35 between top of tyre and spring seat. Its hard to measure accurately however.

    Another quick question Mike,

i picked up a set of Avalanche brakes the other day, do you know if they fit behind the std 17's or will i have to fit the 20's at the same time? Do you know if the 20's fit over the standard brakes too?

Gonna have to pay Chev another visit soon anyhow to do the motor swap from my pano into the Addy so if i dont need the brakes swapped to fit the 20's i may wait until i get the cash together for the swap.

Hey Mate Yeah the Standard 17's wont fit over the Avalanche brakes, I tried on the front & the wheel would not clear the caliper. So that means look for a bigger spare aswell. You can fit the 20's with the standard brakes no worries.

I didn't get the SuperSports Machined I bought them already done from a Wheel Shop in NSW.

The Pano Motor will be very nice indeed in the Addy
