Car Delivery

Hi All quick question, car was being shiped from perth to darwin on ceva was suppose to get on truck today, and be here friday, slip says due date is monday next week. it never got on the truck as they said it was to busy now its a whole week later delayed. any idea if i have any leg to stand on or if i can get something back off them for the delay or is this normal???
never had a problem in the past so had to asked im pretty peaved that its delayed i was so excited to have it back this coming friday!

I don't believe you have much recourse with freight delays. For whatever reasons, it does happen. Not just CEVA either. Often in those parts of the country it has more to do with filling the truck to capacity, rather than being "too busy".
Personally, it might be better to temper your excitement a little and wish for it to arrive safely, rather than just quickly...

Try waiting for QLD to WA with them! Even when it gets here it has scratches to the front bumper and stone chips (from an undercover transport I paid even more for?) and they deny everything even with condition reports at pick up and photos from VIP a mere week before pick up. Lying pack of sh ! theads

I went through the same thing with Patricks transport,Tville to Toowoomba a few years back.The car made it to brissy before coming back inland to
our place.And was a week later than stated.Their attitude made it worse saying take it to small claims if i felt hard done by.My response was a casual
"make sure your the driver coz your getting a punch in the head when its delivered". Live and learn mate,and spread the word on the rogues out there.
