    Racing Truck Crash

This is the wreckage of Diumar Bueno’s racing truck after he spectacularly crashed out of practice during a Formula Truck event in Guaporé, southern Brazil. It’s a fairly horrific sight and when you watch the video footage you won’t be at all surprised at the resultant damage.

It’s been reported that Bueno suffered a brake failure, which sent him into the track’s infield, before crossing the circuit at full speed and flying through a barrier. He was lucky to survive the sickening crash with the relatively minor injuries of two broken legs and ribs.

WOW insane! I watched it three times. I'm sure he was thinking he was about to die heading for the wall that quick.

Yep +1, just glad only 1 person was injured! Imagine if there was a grandstand there!

By all rights, that SHOULD have been so much worse for the bloke, thank god he was okay other than injuries that should heal...
Would have been saying his goodbyes at a guess.

It's interesting, what would you do in the same situation? Go for the Litter and Tires, or put it into a roll?

    Not much time to think!

I would of gone straight just like him... I was always told by my father if yr too committed and you know your gonna crash line her up and take it in the middle... Even small impacts in the side are bad as more impact area with less crushable metal and more chance of brain damage... But for beginning to end all he was thinking was noooooo.... Fark........ Deep breath..... Oooooooh...
