    performance clutch Brisbane

    Hi Fellas,
I have been lurking on this forum for a while but was in between cars while I had a few kids...anyway. I have a VE GTS supercharged pulling 500RWHP and need a new clutch. Can anyone recommend someone in Brisbane apart from performance tuning shops? Can anyone recommend any particular clutch that would suit?

    Cheers

I was talking to Ian at Powertorque at Ormeau this week and he told me about the new Dual Plate Cluthes that they are now the agents for ..

They are called Mantic and apparentley can handle a heap of power with a factory feel and at a great price as well .....

I'd talk to NPC (3277 9403) at Archerfield or Jim Berry from RaceClutch (3847 9999) at Stones Corner.
There's also Direct Clutch Services (3862 2680) at Albion.

Have used an NPC clutch and was very happy with it. Have used a Jim Berry clutch and very happy with it too. I haven't used DCS but have heard good things about them too.

Ive tried many and NPC have been the best but I just installed a Mcleod RXT & Ali flywheel and one of their CSC's and it is perfect.
Bit heavier than NPC twin but it handles up to 1000hp.

    performance clutch Brisbane

I have a charged maloo making 560rwhp, I got a quote from NPC for their coppermix twin plate of $2800 supply only. I recently had a mantic twin installed for less than that which I think is a great deal.
It has lighter than stock pedal feel and smooth shudder free engagement, couldn't be happier.

Speedinc, and freighted by shipito from USA.
Still nursing it but so far awesome clutch/feel
    Bit heavier than NPC.
slight driving ajustment with Ali flywheel, but not a big change.
Slave/CSC a big difference for my car. Have had many issues with clutch pedal hight etc.

I'm running a tex twin plate has no shudder like the single but has a very heavy pedal I nearly push my brothers r8 pedal through the floor after getting out of mine. Have herd some bad stories about them lately but been running 750 rwhp and to the drag strip with no dramas as yet but are a good price. Would not recommend if after soft pedal

Def NPC, I've got a Cushion Ceramic single plate in mine and love it. Also driven a brass button one thats in EV1LR8 (Turbocharged 6.0L on E85) and was very surprised how easy it was to drive.

I'm in the same situation and a highly recommended shop told me that mantic are rubbish?? Apparently have massive issues in shifting down gears??
I'm tossing up in npc lite pedal or the mantic twin plate organic/copper mix?? Any recxomendations car is making 470hp at but will prob get a 150 shot of gas up it.. In future..
