2013 will be an exciting year for AMG.
The first release will be the revised AMG E63, which will have around 600 bhp & 700 Nm+ from its twin turbo V8, but the most exciting aspect of this car is that it will be A.W.D.
AMG have promised 0-100ks in 3.4 secs, making it one very quick car....they say, the fastest production 4 door sedan in the world.

G'Day Dave, Naah....a few too many dollars for me mate. And to be honest, I probably do prefer "The C", ...its more compact, quite big enough for Wifey & me....and it's also fast enough!
More & more AMG models will be going AWD......It'll be interesting to see whether AWD extends to the "new" C63 when it's released (I think not until 2014).

As far as I know this is only a rumour and hasn’t been confirmed by AMG mate

Its just a fake badge as the C63 is a 6.2 NA motor.

100% they are not bi turbo from factory, either way they are plenty fast enough. How fast can you drive on our roads anyway

Yeh thats right all the amgs models have TT 5.5 l motor except the c63 which is 6.2 NA

The TT produce 386kw 700nm stock or the $10,000 optional performance package which is a factory ecu reprogram for more boost puts out

410kw and 800nm from the factory

No worries!!....So you're happy it's not just a "rumour"?
I knew it wasn't a rumour, as I've read an article with the AWD vehicle being driven by the AMG chief....apparently (from memory) the car will be released in the U.S, very early 2013.
I am not sure of the torque figures either, only that they will be "adequate". There is a lot mote to be had from that TT engine.....but I'm quite happy with our NA 6.2...although it'll be blown away by this new beast, that's for sure.

Just checked the AMG website....you're right...they're quoting 900NM for the P.P. version.....but of course what actual state of tune goes into the new car could vary a bit I suppose...won't have long to wait to find out anyway. At any rate, AMG have stated it will be 0-100Ks in 3.4 secs, which hard to comprehend?
