It's racing in 4 weeks time at the clipsal 500 so at the very least it will break cover in the next week or two as the teams launch their cars. They won't want to wait too long after its broken cover until they can deliver cars as no one will buy VE's with the VF shape already out. Mid year is definitely not the case.
We'll soon see but no way it will be June or around mid year.
My source has said VF will be on sale in March.
Yeah I used to own a 360 Charger and my son is building another one at the moment, here is a pic of my old one.

The Holden website has changed, "What does the new VF look like", "Build the New Commodore", starting February 6:
https://buildthecommodore.com.au/?ut..._VF_Commmodore
There is also this new article online stating Public reveal in Melbourne on Sunday 10 February:

The VF graphic on this website seems pretty legitimate to me.
Looks like the early February reveal theory was accurate.

Keep Cruisen
HRT VF launch is on Feb 11.
So does that mean there will be no such thing as a 2013 built VE?
2007 VE SS M6 - Ignition
2013 JH Cruze SRi M6 - Redhot
1971 VW Super Beetle - Moss Green
I wouldn't buy a new VE right now, if your in the market for new Commodore I'd be waiting until VF is out, if you not that keen on the VF, the VE's should have good discounts going. If you can wait even longer the VF's will settle back to normal pricing as I would expect soon after release, while there is VE stock around the VF will be significantly higher price (nearer RRP), as the VE stocks run down, the VF pricing will come back to normal pricing more say like late last year. Hopefully sales will pick up with the VF, it will be a shame to see them disappear if sales keep falling. I can't help but think they made the VE too big for a lot of buyers. I have a VE SV6 but really it's bigger than I need, a pity they couldn't make a Torana type of car again, something smaller than Commodore, but using the same engines and RWD, you would think a 3 litre Torana like the Motor show VE styled Torana some years ago would have market appeal. It seems a pity they don't seem to be able to build various body styles now like they used to, I guess the cost of development with the sophistication of cars now, makes it a costly exercise.
If there's no power upgrades across the range I'll hang on to my VE.
