I'm so glad I have a VE series 1. And now I'm convinced it will probably be the newest commodore I will ever own as the I do not like the new one. Now I can confortably spend more money on mine . lol

Radio reception in the FG is VERY poor.

I'd buy a VF (SSV) based on what I've seen so far. Very nice.

Yep i know, but it's not because of the antenna, the utes still have the whip antenna and suffer from noisy crackly sound!

I really like it. Lots of nice features too. Lets hope they all work really well and the quality matches what is being presented / intended. Please HSV dont stuff up ... keep it clean and sophisticated.

I was bitterly disappointed with the E2 HSV. I lost all faith in them then and there so I'm expecting the worst. I'd be ecstatic to be proven wrong though

So was I Evan. I bought an FPV after having 2 VE HSV's (amongst others).

I think (and they better be right) my hope will be restored.

They have never had a better platform than the VF.

The dash is certainly "out there" but the rest looks good.

Be waiting to see the first proper photos of the SS and the HSVs...... Now we wait to hear exactly what motor options are available.

Unfortunately it appears to retain the ugly "sporty" red lighting hopefully it can be changed in the menu!

I just hope the materials match the looks with quality. Certainly from the pictures it looks like they have addressed the interior issues that always stopped me from buying the VE now HSV, make classy Senator and you have a real chance of selling me one.

manual shifter position looks good, maybe tall drinks won't get in the way!

me too, the hard and cheap dash plastics were a deal breaker for me as well, lets hope theyre as good as the pictures suggest

Really impressed at this first look, it's going to make the decision of a cheap as chips sII ve vs vf alot tougher than I thought it would be. Any ideas on the release of the rest of the range - in particular the ute? Has anyone seen a listing of the range yet (ie ss,ssv,ssvz,redline, etc)?
