HRT..The new livery.

OK guys, as I'm generally "Holden Positive", I feel that I am able to credibly comment on the new HRT livery, which I feel, is not too flash....I don't like it as much as last year, I feel there is too much white in it.
Any comments?

I don't mind it, there is something awkward about the front end. Not sure if its the colour or the front spoiler bit it just doesn't look right. I hate how they have gone to the ford rear wing. I really liked that both had different designed rear wings

I think its better than last year myself, lets hope if it looks that good it goes that good, not sure about the holden/ford thing now just engines and some body panel changes, but time will tell. Roll on 2013.

I'm more interested if its going to be able to win any races this year. T888 Vodafone now Red Bull Racing are so smug and think they can be the people's Holden team straight away. Lets not see another 888/FPR whitewash hopefully it's got some go as they have been dog cars for a couple of years now.

I agree Pickles. Since they've added the gold the cars have always looked a bit chintzy. The VY/VZ was the last of the good looking HRT cars. Having said that, this season is the first one I've really looked forward to watching in many years. Bring it on!

they haven't gone to a Ford rear wing...they have gone back to the original holden wing

I think it needs BLACK wheels..the gold ones don't help the colours

Yes they are. Holden, Ford, Nissan, etc all the same chassis now.

I don't mind the HRT ... a little too much white (HRT cars used to be red ???) but still looks good.

The Red Bull cars look good but pretty much the same as every other Red Bull sponsored car ... I was hoping they would change it up a bit.

Very sad to see the end of the T rear spoiler, they looked so much better than the style that has been isolated to the Fords over the past few years.

Does anyone know why they changed ? Is it just another of the category "controls" ?

Id say so, The Nissan racecars that were unveiled during the week had the same spoiler on them, so Id say its the same across the board.
