EBC front pads for E3 R8

Anyone had any experience with EBC ceramic kevlar front brake pads for the R8 (or probably any HSV) ?
They're a truckload cheaper than OEM's and apparently a lot less brake dust too.
    Cheers

I use Hawk Performance Ceramic on brembos so not a direct comparison to HSV callipers but close enough for a response to this question. I think they are a great pad with good stopping power, long lasting, very low dust and they do not cut grooves into the discs. They are probably similar to EBC Reds which I quite like. I've tried EBC Greens and do not like them at all. There is a brake pad thread somewhere on this site.

Whilst in a different application (VZ Thunder) I am on my third set of reds now. Fantastic pad for the street. VERY low dust compared to other pads I have used in the past (Bendix Ultimates, DS2000, DS2500, Project MU etc.) good bite from cold, handle heat quite well without fading.

They are pretty dusty for the first month or so and squeal a tad but after that mine have never squealed.

You can buy them from the UK dirt cheap.
