Sauber looks are on the money! I hope its a good year for racing as well, bit unsure how the COTF will turn out.. Is it too much to ask that Webbers has some luck this year? Most unlucky bloke in the world!
Well a new year and a new season is approaching and the last year of the V8 aswell. Hopefully will be another awesome year of racing but personally i hope a little more consistency with the tyres, wasnt real impressed with the fact a lot of race results came down to the tyres, i prefer to see the drivers going all out and showing their skill as driver to be able to win races.
Anyway a new season brings new cars and slowly the reveals are starting to happen so here are the few currently out.
I love the look of the the new Sauber, but the Redbull and Lotus are my next favourites at the moment.
Redbull
Sauber
Lotus
Force India
Ferrari
Mclaren
Also heres a nice little video of the RB9 getting made, gotta love technology. The shot of the gearbox without the casing is pretty impressive.
Cheers

Looks like I will be in KL for work for the Malaysian Grand Prix
Here some more of the latest reveals. First test session is starting now too for those that are interested, can follow online.
So fingers crossed the Torro Rosso steps up this year and has some good pace to mix it up with the mid pack and hopefully be consistantly in the points. Not a fan of the mercedes car at all, nose just looks weird lol. I think Caterham have developed a nice looking car even with the stepped nose. Bring on the season already
Torro Rosso
Mercedes
Caterham
Marussia

Will toro rosso be running Ferrari this year or Renault?
GM: Has millions of dollars and highly trained engineers.
Guy in his backyard: Has a hole saw.

Well the season is finally upon us with just over 24 hours to go to the cars hit the track for the first practice session.
So what is everyones prediction?
From the 12 days of pre seson testing its pretty much impsossible to work out who has true pace as they always hold back a little, redbull have shown fantastic reliability and Mercedes are showing some early pace but this weekend will definetly tell. The 2 lotus cars are proving to be good cars as both drivers have nothing but praise for them over the 2012 car and Ferrari are looking decidedly better in testing then they were 12 months ago.
Going to be interesting race and i absolutely cant wait for it. Bring it on!!!!
Cheers

I'll be on the couch most of the weekend watching the new season.
It's always a great round with the V8s, celebrity race etc...
Does anyone know where to find the itinery for the weekend eg what times are races, qualifying and support races?
This will show you;

Bloody hell Webber!!You've been the guy I always wanted to win for many years but I'm getting so bloody sick of your bloody horrible starts!!
It doesn't matter how good a driver you are, when you go from 2nd on the grid to 7th at the first corner the chances of a win are miniscule. Obviously he's a better driver than 99.9999999999% of people in the world but I'm beginning to question why Red Bull stick with him. Monaco suits him because it's so short to the first corner.
It puzzles me how such an obviously good driver just can't improve his bloody starts!
Did you see his interview, he had KERS problems from the moment they were on the grid, on the replay his car started moving at the exact same time as everyone else but no KERS and everyone went round him. Im getting sick of the fact that RedBull continually struggle to have a KERS sytem that works when even marussia and caterham can have a system that dosnt have problems.
Good win by Kimi though, i think that lotus will be a force this year, that car just looked good.
Cheers
Matt
I agree Matt, Kimi will be a force, also he doesn't bin it when the chips are down, just keeps collecting points in the same vane as Alonso does.
Webber is very all or nothing, but I agree, he seems to always have KERS issues and I'm sure it's something the team could mess with from the pit wall. Why is it always Webber who has this issue and never Vettel?
