    Very interesting.

Wondering what way they are going with the engine, dedicated LSA, or a 2300 whacked on top of a LS3. Time will tell.

    Re: Supercharged HSV?

    Wow, what a surprise!

It's a stroked LS2 (cos the block was stronger) fitted with a yet to be released HTV 2800.

I thought that all of the N/A blocks were of similar strength!

Surely they would just use a regular production LSA motor, especially with the current exchange rate!

    more info here:

will be called Gen-F to avoid F-series conflict with Fraud

if the drive article has an element of truth, I think HSV is silly to be offering engines with four different power figures

they should only have two - 340kW for the Clubsport, Senator and Grange and 430kW for the GTS

LSA for sure....it's just a drop in, & apparently will be fitted "on line" in Adelaide.
    Cheers, Pickles.

Looks like a good thing a GTS with a supercharger, bit expensive at $95k though...

If it didn't have the massive performance jump over clubsport probably. But considering the difference and the fact that 12 years ago you were paying that kind of coin for a GTS not really

In today's news, HSV will call its new range "Gen-F".

Agree. A VT2 GTS was around 93k. These things are a bargain. But then LS7 is a more premium engine

Yeah what a great idea, the last Holden/HSV to be over 100k went like hotcakes didn't it.........

The depreciation is still going to be a disaster.
