    Re: Supercharged HSV?

Just got home from HSV. White r8 with optional performance pack and white GTS (also red maloo but I didn't pay any attention to it).

Pictures will be released soon and xlr8 is spot on (he has pics).

My impressions? GTS is a technological tour de force. Rear end of r8 and GTS is stunning (prefer the lip spoiler over the larger GTS spoiler-lip spoiler optional on GTS). Rims on GTS and r8 are stunning as is senator rim (had all the rims, although senator was not there). The other two rims are horrid in my opinion.

Front end take or leave it for me. GTS front end is form following function as they needed air intake. No but trick air box, but 8 coolers meant air was desperately needed.

Interior is beautiful. Differences from vf holden more subtle but a really nice place to be.

Criticism? Best I have ATM is front end still growing on me and boy some of the badges are massive!

You will see it very soon but I was very impressed. Whatever I get (r8 with pack, senator or GTS) will be in white.

I must honestly say, well done to all at HSV. Whatever your opinion, they have done a great job and the passion by all is great, even Phil who is a very astute man but a revhead at heart. Congrats to the team.

And a big thank you for the evening, it was much appreciated.

And please reserve judgement until you see them in the flesh. Photos won't do them justice for what it worth.

Any more details on gts? What is all this tech? Performance figures? Based on calais v? Paddles? Interior toys?

Too much to mention Alex but you will be impressed when you read the info. No paddle shifts. 4 stage traction steering Mrc etc on GTS, trick air box, all sorts of coolers, full zl1 running gear, 390 ml front rotors, 372 rear and both 2 piece etc etc. no final performance figures yet as GTS still being fine tuned (minor Marc stuff).

I would imagine a 12.3 quarter but times around the track are said to very impressive. As I said, the tech stuff will really impress you.

I am looking forward to the details. How wide is the rear rubber?
