Is there car parking close by?
Cheers, Pickles.
There's 2,000 bays at the showgrounds, I can't confirm if they're opening up Flemington as well for additional parking.
I went to the show Saturday. Good selection of companies on display. Workmanship seems very high these days with lots of carbon fibre. Harrop's stand was very good with the KW coilovers and their superchargers of course. Pacemaker had a good display, as did Mal Wood and GM Motorsport. The HM stand was interesting as they had a carbon fibre OTR for VE/VF as shown below. The VF does not have a gap between the bonnet and top grille anymore, hence OTRs will need to adopt the radiator layback approach. HM told me they will have the additional side panels soon, all in carbon fibre. Note that this new OTR has the same fault as others too ...water rising up the front of the radiator can still enter the OTR. But it does look nice.
I saw this fantastic AMG C63 OTR ...work of art and easily the best I've seen. Carbon fibre and note how it takes the top half of the top grille air using fancy depressions, all without laying back the radiator with their consequent air gaps on the sides
Note to organisers, $10 parking charge was a bit much!

I agree. $25 entry ($20 if you have PRSA on facebook and redeemed the offer), plus the $10 car park was pretty rich for a small show.
Here are a few pictures I took. My camera SD card fried itself five photos in at the show... These are the five shots I got:
This was in the car park, not even part of the show. The funny thing was it was one of the best cars there haha.
One of my favourite cars at the event:
Then resorted to the iPhone

Was a great show with a lot of new products to see.... Agree with the price being a bit rich for entry for a small show... over all was a good show.
