Saw my first clubby in Pioneer Holden Mackay today. Looked decently screwed together to me.

Has anyone seen Alchemy in person?

Well its been a while since I've been on the 'ol LS1 forum but after ordering a VF SS-V yesterday, I thought it good timing to come back and see if some of the old crew are still around?

I like them, are they the SV wheels?
    If so are they staggered?

They are very nice, the only problem with the Redline is the chrome wheels.

It is a pity those aren't available in staggered fitment. I prefer them over the redline wheels even in black. The polished finish is pretty average on those.

The Redline wheels depend on the exterior colour of the vehicle. Nitrate, Red Hot, White and Fantale get black gloss wheels. The rest of the colours get the chrome wheels. The following photo is not very good, just took it with my phone, but gives the idea.

Dealer finally got some manual V8s in stock so went down this arvo for a test drive...

One thing of interest was the spare wheel situation. Of the 2x SS and 1x SSV that we checked, all were fitted with the steel space saver wheel. The brochure says that the can of goo is std and space savers and alloy spares are optional but the dealer was adamant that the space saver was standard.

Can anyone confirm what is standard fitment for the spare wheel?

The can of goo is standard, but the spacesaver spare is a no cost option. The alloy spare is optional for $350

If they are available.... i was told they are having enough problem getting 4 for the cars let alone extras for spares...

That depends on which colour car you get, whether you get the chrome or the black!

I admit I am bias owning and loving the VF SS V wheels but the redline wheels are a real let down IMO. Don't suit the car at all. Seen one today and just didn't look right.
