the review I watched mentioned its 'leech like grip', compared to the understeer of the R35 lol. Seems like MRC and advanced traction control goes a long way these days.

I know what you mean. Was talking to my neighbour the other day and told him I had a GTS on order. He's just purchased a second hand S5 with some mods - nice car. There still a lot of misconceptions out there as he said about the GTS "Oh, it'll be ok in a straight line" as though they are drag cars and nothing else. I think he'll get an almighty surprise when lap times for the GTS start to come out. Euro snobbery still exists. His S5 set him back second hand almost as much as the new GTS. Only good in a straight line! We'll see about that...

I have to say I had a laugh at the guy who fried the engine rather than the tyres

Be interesting to see what there like at Targa Tasmania in a fully dry run. The GT2RS will have the power to weight though which is always the commodores problem if they can get it down to 1500kg it would be interesting.

I thought that this month's mags would have something but Wheels doesn't even mention the GTS in its list of cars coming up. Has anyone heard any rumours????????????

    Clutch fry?

I'm surprised we haven't heard anything about the GTS from the media yet. Not sure how many have actually driven a production version?

Just read about the new E63 AMG S, 4.1sec to 100km/h.

Given they are similar in size and stats (both 430KW) should be interesting...

    +1.
Couldn't have said it better myself....it will indeed be interesting.
There will be those who MAY say.....it's not as good ra ra ra.....but there's also those who say the GTS is "Better". I reckon I'll be one of the later.......$92500 V $250000.......does that matter?......To me it does.....BIG TIME.
    Cheers, Pickles.

Ha ha ha...Do you realize how much money I would burn on the C63 if I did that?....I sure ain't James Packer.
What about you...are you a GTS "contender"?
    Cheers, Pickles.
