1&4 should come as a set if you buy new link pins
2 is a tie rod end and is easy if you have a ball joint splitter.
They are all do able in the garage.
Perhaps you should download a service manual?
Hey,
Just want to see how hard these parts are to install? Only have basic equipment like, small jack, jack stands, 1/2 inch torque wrench and sockets/spanners.
Basically I don't think they've ever been changed. Which would it be possible to replace at home without hoist n garage access?
Better to buy a kit that has all of them??
Thanks in advance, don't you just hate FNG's...

5 looks like rear shock mount? But your nolathane pic shows front strut top?
Yeah 5 is the rear sorry.
I might buy a kit, EVOCOM5 or similar (GSL Rallysport?), and do what I can at home with the service manual, then when I go see my uncle get him to do the rest in his shop (so far away!).
Thanks smash
I did pretty much all my bushes in my VX at home. The hardest part for me was getting the old bushes out of the control arms.
the bush from the control arm you just drill through the rubber, till you can push the bush out with a hammer and socket
Cool, thanks for the tips!
The other way is to buy new arms complete with bushes and ball joints. I did mine a few months ago, $220 delivered for the pair off ebay, genuine holden. My ball joint boots had gone so I figured it was easier to just to replace the arm rather than press stuff in and out etc. Fairly easy job.
You'll need a way of separating the ball joint stud from the knuckle. I used a small sledge hammer then levered with a breaker bar, wasn't too hard to get out.
If you're fitting Nolathane or Superpro bushes they are really easy to fit, just a real pain in the ass to remove (for me at least). I hack sawed the ends of and then drilled the rubber out but it took me ages drilling til it was collapsed enough to get them out, I would've tried burning them out if I had an oxy lol.
The ball joint I just loosen the nut and then hit the spindle/knuckle with a heavy hammer and sometimes it'll just drop out but if not then I just use a pickle fork to separate the ball joint, but I've damaged the rubber boot using a pickle fork before so try not to use it if I can help it. I've also used a ball joint separator from Repco or Supercheap and it broke on the second one.
