Reports have it seen around Marsden, then Loganlea, and on Beenleigh Rd, so inform any friends you have living around Logan/Beenleigh/Yatala. I'd suggest informing people on the Gold Coast too as it's only a short squirt down to the coast from there.

The Police have to put a team on this because ALLOT of late model HSV's are going missing up here lately, and it's not like they can be hot wired and driven off.

Sadly the Police probably won't care.

thanks everyone. Yes, unfortunately it was stolen. Broke into the house 5 minutes after we left to go and get the kids. Neighbor saw the car and the time is literraly about 5-10 mins difference.

Assholes broke into the house and grabbed the keys. Also took a bunch of jewellry and other bits and pieces. Even my newly plastidipped rear track rims.

Terrible news Adam and one of the reasons when I got the W427 front bar I put an aftermarket alarm on mine, completely separate to the factory system so even if someone grabs my keys a) the alarm will go off as soon as they open the door and b) the car won't start without a signal from the separate remote which is always with me. Plus even if they get past all that there's a separate GPS tracker with which I can track the car from either my phone or internet.

Here's hoping you get it back unmolested!

The alarm is a Rhino RAM v2 (http://www.rhinoco.com.au/product/RAMV2). RRP around $700 IIRC but you can often find them much much cheaper if you look around eg eBay. Being disabled I love the fact I can remotely arm/disarm etc it by SMS and if there is a problem like someone bumps it in the carpark etc or smashes a window not only does a siren sound on the car but I get an SMS. From memory it can be wired into the factory system but I deliberately elected not to do that so if someone pinched my keys they wouldn't get far.

The GPS tracker is one you find many of on eBay but I bought mine through HSV Listy (Tony) on here because he provides great after service support and his price includes 3 years online tracking. Price now probably only around $150 as they keep coming down. They also have SMS facility so I can ring the SIM in the unit, hang up after one ring and it sends me an SMS which displays details about the cars location, speed etc and I can see on Google Maps on my phone where it is. It also has the facility to cut the fuel pump by SMS which is illegal in Australia but I've got it wired instead to do something not illegal.

I don't think I'd have a great problem disabling fuel remotely if I could guarantee that whoever was in it would be the only ones hurt, but there is potential for purely innocent people to be injured or killed depending on just where the car stopped.
