Well I had a call from the dealer today, they have gotten an external detailer in to fix the paint, being done Wednesday so will be interesting what the wife says when she picks it up.

Did they say how there was clear on the headlights and how the paint was in that state?

    Re: VF Commodore/HSV Owner's Problems & Complaints

I have two issues popped up...

    1. The brake light strip at the top of the rear window has dropped down on the RHS so the strip is on an angle. Looks like the adhesive used to hold the strip up has let go,

    2. When I corner and the body momentum moves in the seat something under the leather is moving under my ass...it is a bit offputting when cornering.

First service oops I mean first inspection list started...

I too have noticed the corner thing with the seat, and yes it is off putting as I can't make it do it unless I go around the corner. It's like there is something inside the seat rolling about.

I had my windows tinted today and asked the guys to see what they would upgrade audio wise if given the chance, 1st on the list would be getting the dead
6" speaker in the drivers door going lol. I didnt even notice. So I played with the balance and fade etc.. and sure enough the tweeter by the window works but not the door speaker.
    Just teething problems I guess.

I wonder if this is related to seat structure or spec... I.E. will it effect all VF/Gen-F seats or perhaps ony those with electric adjustment or those wih luxury spec heating etc.

Do the SSV Redline have the heating like the Calais does?

Try a different dealership or go to someone you can trust but being a new model it is a matter of being patient, until they figure out what the fix is with new issues.

    Re: VF Commodore/HSV Owner's Problems & Complaints

    HI All,

enjoying my VF SS Sportwagon. only a few small gremlins. 1 might be user error though haha.

    1. randomly the Mylink deletes the pairing of my iphone, has happened 4 times in 5 weeks? can redo the pairing and its ok but still not great and obviously a fault..

    2. the text to speech feature doesnt work with my iphone 5 updated all the way to IOS 6.1.4, i thought this might be a compatiblitly issue as it says "text messaging not available for this phone"

    3. there seems to be a small noise/vibration that is intermittent when cruising at around the 80kph mark, it sounds/feels like running over the ripple strip on the edge of a freeway (not quite as violent) but seems to be getting a little more frequent and a little worse. has 5,000k's on it.

has ayone experienced anything like this?

    Kind Regards
    PreferRX

Same with my WN Caprice V and iPhone5.

Holden says doesn't work with iPhone but does with Android phones. iPhone may work in future with software upgrade, perhaps iOS 7. 3. there seems to be a small noise/vibration that is intermittent when cruising at around the 80kph mark, it sounds/feels like running over the ripple strip on the edge of a freeway (not quite as violent) but seems to be getting a little more frequent and a little worse. has 5,000k's on it.

That is the AFM cutting in and out between 4 and 8 cylinder mode. No longer have trip computer indication of AFM operation so can only tell by change in driveline noise/vibration.has ayone experienced anything like this?

    Kind Regards

    Re: VF Commodore/HSV Owner's Problems & Complaints

When I started my car this morning a "service front camera" warning came up. I had no front collision warning or lane change warning working. When the engine was turned off and restarted the fault had cleared itself. Let's see how it goes on next start up.

I'd say it should log a fault code that Holden could check. Mine is going in for its 3000k inspection today and I'm asking them to check the HVAC software. My brake light isn't perfectly level but isn't falling away like yours but will ask them to double check it. Not sure wether to bother about the seat thing.

Tell them about the seat issue, at least it is logged as an issue on their system. I'd be interested in what they say about it because I will be telling them to sort mine out. I have never had that happen before, however I have never had heated seats so can't really comment.

    Good point, I'll do that.
