The static problem with charging is easily fixed with a cable that has a filter in it. Can find them in some shops and eBay etc. I bought one when I had my E2 Senator. It filters the earth noise. I think belkin make such a 3.5mm cable.

have looked for such a cable and can't find it. do you have any links?

Separate sales figures for ute ... I think it is because it is not called a Commodore ute .. it is marketed as a Holden ute.

Simply, No.

Projector = Halogen
HID = HID

Although you can fit HID to a projector lamp.

As many of us on here have done with VE etc with projectors. Len who used to be on here as SV8er also sells all in one kits (ballast built into the rubber section which mounts directly behind the headlight) on his www.ezihid.com.au site. I haven't used them (I've got separate ballasts) but have a few friends who have and they're quite happy with them.
