Well... it's been nearly 12 months since my last update and there has been a BIT of progress. The engine is slowly coming together and will (hopefully be dyno'd just early October).

The car itself has gone from "turn the old Berlina into a drag car" into "build a dedicated carbon fibre body full doorslammer spec chassis setup for Outlaw 10.5". There is still plenty of work to do on the chassis as you can see!

The plan is to set the car up for 10.5 racing, with a plan to race it in Supercharged Outlaws in that configuration. To have a (small block) LSX powered Supercharged Outlaw Sedan making the field for Winternationals would be great. I love the idea of an LSX powered car sticking it to those old school big block boys. Once we've got the chassis tuning sorted we'll then step it up a bit (500-600 HP) of direct port injected nitrous. Then we'll really know we're serious!

I picked up a 2nd hand Lencodrive to stick behind it with a billet two piece convertor. We'll start there but no doubt have plenty of fine tuning along the way to do.

I can't believe it's been a year since my last update, but I guess time flies when you're having fun (and when you're head down and bum up in work!).

    Cheers,
    Paul

Anybody game to give a guess at what it'll make on the engine dyno when it finally gets there?

I guess 1102rwhp. Also good luck with finishing the build mate, sounds like it'll be ballistic.

Holy shit, that motor just looks awesome with that blower ontop.
Interested to know why a timing belt instead of a chain?
