a little of the topic of the thread but
low kms on a car is good..
but
very low kms on a car shows the car was never serviced or maintained.

i guess if you like to just look at it then buy a poster.....
cars loose thier performance the less they are used and some componets do sieze over time regradless how its stored

eg fliuds do deteriorate over time, oils, coolant, brake fluid etc

I reckon it's a fair bet that if you're buying something like a W427 and not using it much you're getting it serviced regularly anyway ... I had a Coupe 4 that did around 6,000kms in 4 years, it was serviced every 6 months!

If the car is properly warmed up and given a good run when it is used ... and serviced regularly ... low kms will never be a negative! I'd pay a premium for an immaculate low km example over a well loved example with a grubby interior any day!

I do on occasion ... unfortunately I get bored quickly and don't really get attached to material stuff, so as much as I'd love to have a huge shed filled with all the old toys once something new grabs my attention I move on!

I have spoken to the new owner several times and it sounds like it's being well looked after and enjoyed, so that's a good thing!
