In response to the questions here are some GTS underbelly shots.

Big thanks once again to Andrew who saw the pain (very literally! I did something really dumb on the weekend and only half my back works at the moment) I was in trying to get some shots with the car on the ground.

Was underneath one just the other day, very impressive bit of kit.

Glad to see that everyone is loving their gts. Some great owners pics and write ups.

I think Andrew at HSV deserves a huge amount of recognition for all his efforts. This sort of personal touch is what makes such a niche manufacturer get repeat and new business. He has been extremely busy keeping many happy and has done so with the greatest level of enthusiasm and passion. He is also a car nut with a long history and large knowledge of very quick drag and street cars.

Re: Supercharged HSV? - Part 4

How many of you guys that have purchased/ordered a GTS would realistically be looking at modifications along the usual bolt-on lines and pulley upgrades etc? It seems to me there would only be a comparatively small market for this. Maybe (hopefully) I'm wrong.

As I am sure you are aware there are some great packages that have been developed for the LSA cars in the US. ( See this Camaro ZL1 video thread:
    http://www.ls1.com.au/forum/showthre...ghlight=Camaro

There area obviously other examples and companies but this one had the video. Another obvious well known one is Lingenfelter. It will be interesting to see who partners up with these types of companies or at least their development info.

For now I will just keep salivating about the GTS and then about the possibilities!

I'm leaning towards leaving it stock but then again a tune might be on the cards. I would like to know how much it is making now anyway. Since it is my daily transport I very much doubt that I will get more carried away than that, do too many km to compromise what is already an excellent package.

A fast car versus a powerful car.

It will be interesting to see the sales figures after 12 months or so as these cars will appeal to 2 different audiences including the Aussie trend towards smaller cars and SUVs.
