Just over a month to go... I'm excited

Just a couple noob questions for someone who has never been to the drags as a participant.

1). How much run way do you have after you cross the line?
2). Do you need to start braking right away?
3). I've been practicing getting off the line... any tips on stopping the car from axle tramping like a bitch?
4). Where do you hide if your Wife runs a better time than you ???

Good luck, your first run is always the most nervous lol. What tyres are you racing on?

1). Heathcote has one of the longest run offs in the country so you'll be fine.
2). If you are in the right lane there are 2 exits, the first is about half way down the run off or otherwise you need to roll to the end which seems a long way if you aren't trapping that quick lol.
3). Your car might tramp more at the drags with VHT on the track so just try and control your launch and start off small.
4). Can't help you with this one lol

Only whatever you take - none for general use AFAIK.

Of course - spectators pay an entry fee (from memory $20???) and have to park outside but it's only a short distance from the entrance.
