Im waiting till next year to get a xboxone to have one without the launch bugs and the only thing I regret about it is not being able to play the new forza.

Yeah it can be hit and miss.

I bought 2 launch 360's - one was a nightmare and got replaced after its fourth visit to MS ... the other, no issues at all (too inconsistent)

A little rough, but to be expected. The first Playstations had terrible issues with CDROM lasers yet they sold a bucket.

Early days are always rough.

You could always race on a much more accurate representation of Bathurst on the PC, over at iRacing.com. The entire track has been laser scanned, so it's millimetre accurate, bumps and all.

had a quick look, do you have to have a steering wheel and controls to play, or can you just use keyboard controls?(although it wouldnt be as good).

I think you will find that Turn 10 have lazer mapped the track - with Mark Skaife providing input into just how the car should feel at every spot on the track ... apparently, Mattias Ekström only raced the track on a special advanced copy of Forza 5 before his maiden mountain race and it was enough to help him get into 10th on debut.

This looks pretty decent to me for 99% of the punters who want to have some bathurst time from their beanbag.

loving Forza 5, only done about 9 basic races in campaign and had a crack at Bathurst in free play, done all of 4 laps best of 2.16 with stock HRT car.. How do other players get 2.09, they must be able to hack it or something?? Always wondered this... Currently 26th in the world... Early days though, I will get smashed up soon

Cant wait to get home. How difficult/easy is forza with the controller?
