My cam even though relatively small seems to produce a lot of torque. I now have a set of MTs to try running with next time which I hope will get me down to the mid 12s somewhere from 12.83 on half worn stock SS rims/tyres. Also did one or two runs last time on my street tyres (275/30/20) which still had some traction issues but I can't remember exactly what. They did a mid 12.9 but at highest mph I've had - almost 114mph.
Thanks for the reply mate.

Strange how you cannot get traction. My car with similar setup (slightly smaller cam) on kumho 19" did 12.50 at 114.5, then same setup with high stall did 12.15 sec.
With stock stall, stalling it up to 1000rpm then planting it on the green always seems to give me 100% traction (1.96 60ft). With the high stall, starting at 50% throttle then going to full throttle works on the 19s (1.83 60ft).
It's a TCE 3800-4000. Yeah I install high stalls in all my cars, they drive much smoother.
With my current car, it has made a big difference in improved drive ability. All the little surging issues I had from the cam have all gone (mainly when suddenly braking hard). The brakes don't need to be pressed as hard at the lights. No more clunking between park/drive/reverse. Take off is so much quicker. Overall, drives great and sometimes you don't know it's stalled at low throttle.
Cheers mate. Doesn't sound too scary.
