Any of you guys live near the factory where they built the Monaro CV8. Would like to see a pic of the factory before they tear it down and replace it with condos.

The old GMH factory in Brisbane is still there, was shut in the mid 80's and is now a tafe.

haven't for a while, I enquired about this a few years ago as I was planning on doing an LS1 cruise there.

Be good if some one rich enough could buy it as is with all equipment and then we start building Australian built sports cars. I mean bespoke sport car factories in the UK like TVR seem to survive so why not here.

TVR (and other low-volume sports car makers) don't really survive, it's more that they go through regular bankruptcies and then some other optimistic person decides to throw money at them and try again, rinse, repeat.
