Trackday / Sprints - Pitlane fan

When I have been to a few trackdays. I have noticed a few people have fans blowing thru the radiator/engine in between sessions. I assume this is reduce heat soak. Domes anyone here do that. Does it help.

Depends. Some need it fast and desperate as possible to cool the car as quick as possible from laps sitting near top of the temp gauge.
Some have them due to quick turnaround from events to bring temps down so it it better the next race.
Some due to oil cookers or inter coolers when the car is back in the Pitts bringing oil temps down and generally cooling the car down.
Some maybe for heat soak but the people I have seen use them generally not just for that alone.
    Plenty use them up here
I don't use one on the car but on me as frighten hot racing up here
