Service reminder vf, how to, turn it off

Yup, had the car serviced and they didn't reset it, anyone know how to, can't find anything in the manual to stop it coming up on start up.

    Cheers

Try ignition on then hitting throttle several times quickly then ignition off. Sometimes works

I think ve is, as you turn it on hold the enter button until it comes up reset, then scroll and accept.

Ignition on, press accelerator pedal to the floor 3 - 5 times in super quick succession, then start the car.

Won't work if you press the accelerator slowly or if you turn the ignition off after pressing the pedal.

Might have been handy if he asked about the VE.

    And the "official" word is...

Change Engine Oil Soon 'service reminder' message appears in the instrument panel center. This message is triggered every 14,000 km from when last reset.
Service Reminder Reset Procedure- Service Reminder message is reset using the global service tool or manually by the technician by switching ignition on and pressing accelerator pedal 3 times.

The same's happened to me, and I really don't feel like making a special trip into the dealership for them to do what they should have done in the first place.

Anyone know the procedure for a keyless start VF SSV? Pressing the start button without a foot on the brake only activates the accessories. Pressing the start button with a foot on the brake starts the car. With that car started it seems to rule out the 'press the accelerator pedal three times' method?

Think you may have answered your own question, put it into accessories and try the procedure!
