Adding these features to the Holden range would pretty much wipe out the HSV product. There would only really be one product that is different and that would be the GTS. The only features the R8 has over the Redline is it's "go fast" bits.

Seeing as there will be no relationship anyway after 2017 why would Holden care?
Make hay while the sun shines and cover some of the horrific losses of this year!
If this is true, I'd hold off for the new Redline if it gets LS3 and flappy paddles.

Can't say I've heard anything confirming that Lowndes is leaving the Holden nest, and/or Holden are leaving V8 Supercars, after 2017...
Loss of local production is highly unlikely to kill V8 supercars off overnight.

I think he was referring to Holden and HSV.

Correct, if there are no Commodores then HSV will be looking else where anyway, as for Holden leaving Supercars, they are really just a sponsor like Castrol or Supercheap - how much is actually a Holden?

Interesting - flappy paddles, magnetic ride, Brembo's on the rear as well - all it needs is the LS3. We're getting closer!

Let's just say that they've used a fair bit of "educated guesswork" on it's specs...
But they are wrong. The rear Brembo's will be there. The rest wont be.
Flappy's for sure will be on a HSV first before any Holden gets them.

Dowlings taking all the credit on twitter like he was the first to break the news, I told him that it was on the LS1 Forum a while ago and its old news.

Yes, the media do like to be the first with the "breaking news"...

Does that mean you only get upgraded rear brakes and a badge and sicker package over the normal Redline?
What is the RRP on the Lowndes Commodore compared to the Redline?
