12.7l to the 100km's for my v6 petrol around Brisbane. It has 61,000km on it now. When I used to drive it out west all hgihway I could get it down to 7.1l/100km's. For the size of the car it really is phenominal.
Cant edit my post, my bad. Google says 14.1l/100km. My mate has the brochure. Not sure why he told me 22L haha.. 14l aint too bad considering

personally..... based on the experience of 2 people I know who have bought them
I would run away quickly.
the first one got theirs just before Christmas last year... and she has just won a fight in VCAT against Jeep
under the lemon laws. Her problems started about a month after she got it and was unable to turn the engine off.
It took Jeep roadside assistance over 4 hours to turn up... the engine was a tad stressed by then.
The final straw was when all the engine bay wiring melted and caused a fire....with a promised repair time of 9+ months
VCAT awarded her the money back + other costs, Jeep got the car . She has now got a Kluger
The other instance, a mate of mine, has had 2 autos replaced and a diff in the 15 months he has had his.
He loves it.. this big white thing but still says its a pile of junk mechanically. Its good when it goes.

I have to say I got mine in 2011 as the first of the current platform and it has been mechanically perfect. I've had two items rectified under warranty being the lights in the door stopped working for some reason and fixed with an ecu flash and the cruise control on switch intermittintly stops working which has been fixed as well.
I will say the only complaint that I have is the cost of servicing which goes from $400 throught to $1400! The warranty on the Jeep is now up so it will be interesting to see how it goes as the family truckster.
you need to find some car friendly friends
there selling 1400 plus a month and are having only minor problems, that is until it's your car having the problem.
no different to when i purchased the VY SV8. if i had of read what was going on with the Commodore i would have missed out on having a great car that gets 30 mpg and gets down the 1/4 in under 13 seconds. we dreamed of cars doing this in the 80's

While on the topic of Jeeps anyone seen the pr disaster their promotion they had this morning had a massive fail?
I tried to call but no chance getting through, I would have been dialling not too long after the app revealed the number, I think I needed to be maybe a minute quicker off the mark. Article today said 60,000 attempted calls in one minute. I don't know about any fail on Jeeps part, apparently the number was floating around on Whirpool last night. Jeep are supposed to have opened the number at 09:00:20 So where is the remote dealership? the app was telling me 964 Km from my location at work this morning, and this afternoon 939 Km from home, the direction from Sydney looks to be West. So what location is say 960 km west of Sydney CBD as the crow flies?
I just asked Google that question, a couple of mining places Pyrite Hill and Egebeck Quarry are approx. 30 km from Broken Hill.

I just purchased a White 2014 4x4 laredo a few weeks ago. I opted for aftermarket 2 tone leather and a tint.
so far its been amazing and am extremely impressed with the value and gear that it comes with.
The only criticism. ..is the reverse camera is so bad at night and dim light, that its bordering on useless.
anyone bought an SRT8 lately?
That's interesting? The video is grainy on mine as if you are recording with a camera phone at night but the reverse lights throw out enough light to be able to see what's going on. In what way is it bad on yours? Just really dark? If so something desn't sound right.
My dad has the same one too, and yes exactly the same issue.
It's almost as if the lights at the back are too bright for the design of the camera as its extremely grainy, laggy and has a slight flare-like affect.
basically when in very dark street with no lighting...reversing becomes more of a guessing situation. Not that comfortable at all, and much safer to just roll down a window and look with my own eyes. Both 2014 4x4 laredos.
My brother has the 2014 Overlander, and his camera is much better for some reason...but still not that great.
it is a problem with the laredo as they don't come factory with them from the US. and instead of fitting the camera thats in the limited and above they are putting in cheap crap, some people have got good cameras off ebay that fix the problem. i will going in soon to see if i can get the latest updated camera that is part of the factory "JEEP" trip on the tailgate. the first night we got home the misses pushed in the camera thinking it was the button to open the tailgate. on jeepgaragedotcom you will find heaps of info.
