    MC Racing Wheels

    Hiya,

Has anyone here fitted MC Racing wheels to a VY/VZ and if so What size tyre did you go for and offset?

    Any good?

They come staggered MC RACING 20x8.5 and 20x9.5

I am thinking 235/30 in front and 255/30 in the rear as I have rolled guards all round...

How knows someone who has them fitted ??

hey mate, i can't help you with tyre size and offset, but i have them fitted to my GT, and they're decent enough for the money. I had one of the fake nut/screw things not pushed in properly, and one of my tyres won't inflate unless i actually take out the chrome valve cover, which then causes minor damage to the paint around the valve, it's not very noticeable though.

    Otherwise they've been good.

I'm just wondering if 255s might look a little stretched on a 9.5" rim? I have 245 fronts and 275 rears, but obviously different cars will tolerate different offsets etc. I paid extra to have my offset shaved, to allow the tyre to tuck under the guard more, so it went from a 45 to a 40 i think. The front required a 5mm spacer to clear the brembo brakes.

Give them a buzz and they'll know exactly what they can and can't put on the car for you.

Standard 19 inch holden rims are 8 inch wide with 245's ... you should be able to fit 275 on a 9.5 inch rim.

This website might help you out. Im going through the same thing now, play around with the avaliable offsets and tyre sizes and press submit and then check with a measuring tape

Not sure if 275 was a typo from you? I know 275s fit the 9.5" rim, as i have them on my car... i was just thinking a 255 might look stretched on a 9.5" rim?

Edit: damn, where were these cheaper simmons a few months back!!
