MY15 VF Commodore

^^^ Hope you don't want a manual Tourer. HSV have dropped the manual gearbox option from the Tourer so you now can't get a manual Commodore wagon whether Holden or HSV. HSV yesterday announced their updates to the Gen F, basically the R8 gets the 340Kw engine standard seems to be the notable change that I noticed apart from the removal of the manual Tourer from the range.

got the brochure and specs, had the (R8 sedan) test drive, chosen the colour and wheels and had spoken to the dealer about
2 weeks ago re putting in an order early in 2015 (as an order in now might/might not get built before Christmas). They knew the
update was coming .. but not the dropping of the manual from the tourer

so
stiffed again by Holden..... unless the dealer can find a white (will take black) manual Tourer with the optional 20" alloys and 340 engine pack
that has been built (or is on the line) . But let's put it like this, I ain't holding my breath...

Got me stuffed why m6 has been deleted from the tourer. It's only an MY update after all. This is in effect one of the reasons Holden/HSV has failed. Not catering for all customer demands.

There was only the VY SS wagon manual years ago, Holden brought out a V8 wagon SS etc with the VE but sales don't justify keeping it.

Cant say they tried.

Sales were huge of the manual... but its just another cost cutting exercise. Less money spent on approvals for a new model means money earnt.....

yeah i pissed I looked at a tourer and the wife liked the wagon over the sedan we were blooking at late 15 or early 16 for a MANUAL as my man wagon is paid off and lease a new one what do we do now and have spoked to lots of people who were going to update to a man wagon in 16 or 17 good one GM

I have been buying V8 Manual Holden wagons since HX back in 1977 ..and I am on my 3rd SSv manual wagon
I also know of 6 other people with V8 manual SS/SSv wagons .. and they are not happy.

aagggh maybe not. I have been told there is the final one about to pop out of the line at Elizabeth (tomorrow or Monday)
bound for a dealer in Melbourne. ...Phantom with the 20" optional black wheels. Will be confirmed tomorrow ( I have asked for the VIN)
and if so, the dealer will get my deposit tomorrow in his bank account

In addition in melbourne there are also several dealers I have contacted with 'demo' versions for sale... all a month or 2 old with anywhere
between 10 and 600kms on them ... in Heron, Alchemy, Phantom and Nitrate

what is the compliance plate date on your sister's wagon? Based on your post I doubt she got the last one
(as the one i just bought has a compliance plate date of September 2014)

and why didn't she buy the one mentioned above already in Sydney? it was white......
maybe because it had not been built yet

Dunno mate. All I know is my brother in law at the time rang every signle one advertised and they were all sold or auto. They all said the same thing, "no more manuals left". A dealer tracked a black one down in Perth and they jumped at it. They had to wait 2 or 3 weeks to get it shipped. As for if it was the last one I am not sure I'm certainly not trying to claim its a collectors item or anything haha. They just looked for about a month and there was only one that whole time and it was a black one in Perth. Anyway they love the thing.
