What is needed for a 10.99 in a full weight vy sedan

Just wondering what was needed to produce a 10.99, full weight - jack and spare. If anyone has done it here?
Alternatively, has anyone actually hit the weigh bridge with our boats?

The right head and cam will get you there provided the setup is spot on... We're talking big cams though.

Seen flat 11/high 10's out of cammed LS3's in a VT-VZ, could probably be done with around a 'true' 450rwhp in the lighter variants.

Already blown, 500hp/730ft torque on the dyno. 3000 stall, 3.7 gears and some slicks.
Getting eager to test it out.

Get it to hook up and you should be close. What suspension?

Will easily go close. I've gone 11.2/11.3 and mine would be close to 2T I think.

Superlows allround, kyb shorter shocks at the front, fe2's at the rear (really gotta fix that).
I know fe2 springs and rear shocks with 90/10s on the front is a good combo.
If the 60ft is bad, then i might look at 90/10s on the front and some koni adjustables on the rear.

Fe2's all round if you can find some springs cheap will suffice for now. If you get close and are chasing every tenth then maybe invest in some 90/10's.

I pull 1.5x 60's with Fe2 rears and pedders coilovers up front...still sits pretty low, just not as stiff. I've got a much bigger converter and that's on 245/40R18 street radials

I ran 10.91@127 with a 1.52 sixty foot. 380rwkw, 235/60/15 drag radials, 90/10 up front and stock FE2 in rear.

    You should be fine.

From what im seeing, blnls1 is top mount, im assuming white lie is a top mount? Will be interesting to see how the centrif compares.

Blnls1 - massive boost on the stock ls1, this new filter should free up 1-2lb, putting me around the 12/13 mark. Not really worried about the pistons, but im hoping the rods stay straight and inside the block.

    Yeah mate, 1900 maggie.

May need a bigger converter with the centri but only way is as suggested, suck it and see!

So the big question... When are you giving it a run?

Re: What is needed for a 10.99 in a full weight vy sedan

A week or 2, and im gettin antsy as hell to run it. But im having a few dramas of late.
Ordered wrong pipework for filter, and a mate hasn't finished cutting and shutting collision bar to fit new intercooler(only been 2 1/2 weeks and he's "between jobs").
