Repairability of latest modern vheicles.

Any professional panel beaters / mechanics that can advise please:
as to which brands or new models offer ease of reparability.

After seeing new cars / trucks apart, it seams to me most are require excessive effort and labour time to
remove disassemble - parts off for repair.

However they all seemed to be built for ease of assembly .... (appears putting them back together is fairly quick process)

Are there any newish releases that are a pleasure to work on - designed well for repairs if needed compared to the average poor assembly only design?

I think Mercedes started the trend way back when for example the front bumper had to be removed to replace a headlamp.
People were unhappy happy about it back then, but now that looks like a good design compared to the near impossible plastic tab click hold together the modern stuff.

Bad news, today's cars are not designed to be repaired - easily.
Just the opposite, they are designed to crumple and fall apart to minimise impact on the occupants.
A mate of mine is a auto repairer - they don't beat panels anymore. If a panel is damaged it is chucked away and replaced. Heaps quicker and cheaper.
Roofs are unpicked and a new one is glued in place. guards are replaced. The closest is knocking out a rear guard, but even those are replaced and tacked/glued on.

That I well aware of, others doing careless damage could be a greater worry - even a greater worry is when the car is old due the already fragile clip on bumpers of modern cars age well?
As finding replacement bumpers and flex body locks is going to be challenge for the almighty.
Maybe there is a future in 3D printed soon to be classic parts ?

Got no issue with the crumble to absorb impact and save the occupants part - just the cheaply clipped together these days.
I have feeling most modern will not age well into vintage years for any sort of classic car show scenario.

Interesting how insurance companies raise premiums dramatically for older cars which by then have token low value, wonder how much of this is due to parts availability / cost issues?

Yes this is going to be a nightmare. Even just removing side trims and grille surrounds, even some bumpers, ALL clips are either broken or destroyed in the removing process or the part being removed to get to the problem part(s) are broken/damaged.

3D printed parts will be a goldmine.

Greatest problem with new models & panel repairs etc. is the inability of some repairers not having knowledge/ability to remove or replace these clips or fittings!
