    VE engine mounts

Was only a matter of time, every single commodore we've had since the VN needed engine mounts - you think they'd get them right by now, car is just about to tick over 70,000kms (A5 V6).

My left hand mount has busted, Holden want $550 and 2 hours to do both mounts. The time doesn't concern me but the price quoted does seem a little excessive, just after some advice on other options. My preference is OEM.

    Cheers.

Nothing too technical about changing a mount, sure a little friggin around but surely not beyond even an average spanner man!
