Yes you will require that small looking pipe as an L98 has. If you fit a catch can you would remove that & put your can in series/parallel with it.
What I like about the 6L they have decent barbed fittings & very easy to fit a can in this instance, much simpler than the LS1.
Finally got around to doing a quick sound file over the weekend. Was done on my daughters I-Phone, so not the greatest quality. Also, ignore the smoke, that has now been rectified thankfully

Also, got Elite catch can in the post, so hopefully fitting over the weekend if it arrives in time.

That sounds very sweet. Bet your very happy with the result.![]()
Sounds fantastic Rod![]()
So regardless of dyno graphs and noise........how does it drive?!
Are you happy?

Mate, I could not be happier, it drives far better than I had even hoped. I was always worried that going further than exhaust, otr, diff gears and tune on the Calais would essentially ruin the car if you know what I mean. Well it hasn't, the car idles nicely and punts along no differently to the stock cam really (maybe a little more push against the brakes when in drive due to no stall). When you nail it, well it just farkin goes like a cut cat, and not all over the place like the old VT, just bum down nose up and off you go.
So yeah, pretty happy lol
I too did the tune and external stuff but went a cam in my GenF and while its manners have changed, certainly worth it for the please both aurally and performance...
