The spec sheet lists it as standard?
But any upgrades, I would imagine you can do a lot better for the price with aftermarket audio

It's standard on Redline and Calais-V. Otherwise the Bose comes as part of a package, so to get it you also have to get the sunroof. Package costs $2,490 and is for SS-V Sedan only.

You certainly have the good oil on the VF series 2

That's a pretty good price for the package

Re: VF Series II IS HERE

Can anyone tell me what they know about the performance upgrade being offered for the standard VF2 Redline Brembo brake package?

Just to clarify, I’m not talking about the performance brake upgrade option for non Redline V8’s.

This is an upgrade for the VF2 Redline Brembos.

I’m told the option is to upgrade the existing Brembo package to bigger discs & callipers, the callipers will also have an improved action over the standard set plus more performance orientated pads.

Can anyone in the know shed some light?

This is news to me. The only brake upgrade I know about is the upgrade to the non-Redline V8s as you have mentioned. AFAIK, the Redline Brembos cannot be upgraded.

Nope. Not even an option on all colours in the sedans. May as well just get it done aftermarket. How hard is it to paint a roof!
I think the only options for the Tourer are the EDI and a full size spare.

I was thinking the same - Redline brake Upgrade is called a Clubsport.

Forum_Lurker I might be wrong but did VF II Redline get Brembos on the rear where VF I Redline didn't?

Here are two photos taken of the car I’ve been test driving that shows the factory stock front and rear Brembo brakes for the VF2 Redline.

I’m happy to be corrected on any of my posts regarding the brake setups for the V8 VF2’s as I appear to be the only person on the planet that thinks there may be an upgrade available for the Redline.

You’ve got an order in, why not ask your Dealer to check there ordering system or with Holden for a factory only fitted brake upgrade for the stock VF2 Redline setup and tells us what they say.

If I’m wrong I’m wrong, if I’m right it may help others who may wish to check if the upgrade is worth the additional cost.

It’s not the same price as the VF2 SSV upgrade which if I’m correct includes the following:
(This info came partly from the VF2 brochure with added detail lifted from another Forum.)

Standard Front SSV Disc = 321x30mm
    Upgraded Front Disc = 345x30

Standard Front SSV Calliper = 42mm (Twin Piston)
Upgraded Front Calliper = 60mm (Single Piston)

Rear Discs & Callipers remain unchanged

Standard SSV Pads = Non Asbestos Organic Pad
Upgraded Pads = Low Metallic Pad

    Plus Upgraded Master Cylinder.
