US Guys are amazed at how well the Coyote motor responds to FI... Hellion do a TT set up and there own relatively stock car is making 1135rwhp and has ran in the 9's, there are a few running 2.9L whipples pushing just over 800 rwhp, below graph is the latest blower install (blower exhaust and tune)
And NO there have been no reported engine failures there are many running FI some are pushing the limits and hitting the strip hard so far so good...And YES I know this is a holden forum but a few have asked questions and its good to keep up with what the blue oval are offering

Wow just found this thread. Cool man, congrats. I started taking notice of these recently. I know it sounds weird but my biggest turn off quite simply is that its a Ford. I know I know its stupid to say that as a reason. I had no idea they were getting that much power.
BTW Red R8 I think you have chosen the best colour mate. I do think it'll be the most common though so choose your wheels wisely to set it apart. I am a sucker for Simmons but you could probably get some nice 3 piece with decent dish under the rear... (Insert drool)
Honestly, I would dead set be all over a Camaro if they brought them out except for one thing... Have you ever sat in one? The finish on the I think if absolutely awful. Its terrible everything is so boxy etc. That Ford finish you;re right, looks great.

One big fail on the R/H conversion is the console & handbrake position, notice cup holder too!

I know its a Ford and I HATE Fords...but the older I've got Ive had Hemi's,toyota's etc etc so its just a car...Fortunatly there are NO Ford badges anywhere, I keep telling my self its not a ford...Its a Mustang lol. As far as the Comaro go's I don't like it at all.....sure its quick etc etc but it just never grabbed me, I prefer the look of my VF. I just loved the Mustang the day I saw it. I really wanted an older muscle car a 66 Stang or 68 Comaro etc but after driving a couple I realised 50k got me a sh1t handling, shit braking, unreliable, uncomfortable unsafe hot looking car....The new Mustang feels very retro Muscle car inside, its simple it works and ticked all my boxes...

This is true.
I couldn't really care if it's on the other side of the console, I'd prefer the cup holder on the closer side as it is. Once the handbrake is off, I never touch it again....my cup of coffee on the other hand...

Friend of mine who has bought one mentioned it is a real pita for him & in my opinion don't look right.
But overall it performs like a shower of shit!
