Hi there.

My name is Matt. I am not new to modified cars, but I have recently purchased my first LS1 powered car, a Heron White 2003 VY SS ute & looking forward to chatting with other LS1 owners & enthusiasts.
My VY has some history & I'm hoping someone here may know the car & maybe I might find some pics of it from it's heyday. It runs a built up LS1 with Harrop HH122 supercharger with all or most work done by Autotechnique in Melbourne & used to have Victorian rego FAKELO.

Welcome Matt The VY's were one of the best LS1 vehicles as all the bugs from the Mex. factory were ironed out by then & didn't suffer like the VT-VX's did.
You certainly have a nice combo with the 122 on top. Look around search heaps & chime in, there's plenty of reading here...Enjoy!

Thanks for the welcome. My VY is the most powerful car I've owned & also the most pleasurable to drive, even my wife can drive it. She did learn quickly though that pressing too hard on the accelerator & it becomes a very different car.

Welcome Matt. Love white utes - my previous car was a cammed white SSV ute with genuine W427 front bar. Gotta love superchargers too - same as your wife my wife knows to go easy on the loud pedal in my Senator.

This is my pride & joy. Pretty sure it hasn't changed much from when it was known as FAKELO. It has only done 85,000kms from new. I fitted the VE Thunder rims & a touch screen unit in the dash, other than that it is more or less how I bought it.

Thanks for the welcome & I'm glad you like my car. It is a really well built car & a credit to the previous owners, so it doesn't really need much to improve it. My plans are to source & fit a Harrop four piston brake upgrade, do a dyno run & maybe the quarter mile.
Other than that, drive it as often as possible, take it on some cruises & maybe some show n shines. Cheers Matt
