    Turtle Wax Trim Restorer

Not sure if anyone has tried this stuff before, but after getting some white chalky stains on the black strips running over the roof I thought I would give it a try. Well, it works better than I expected. Even after one light application the marks are gone, and the trim looks like brand new. I ended up going nuts and doing all the mirrors and visible plastic as well.
Now to see if it lasts the 3 months that they promise. Never really been a fan or Turtle stuff, but they seem to have lifted their game.

Sounds pretty good. I,ll have a look next time Im at Supercheap or Autobarn. Those strips on the roof tend to fade, so will be interesting to see how mine comes up. So you mainly used the stuff on the exterior?

Yes mate, have only done exterior so far, it is a bit greasy so not sure if I will use it inside the car.

How would you compare it to Armoural? I used to use that a fair bit, but left a greasy film and then heard it wasn't good to use. I really haven't found anything to replace it though. I have used Turtle wax over the years, good to see theyre coming out with new products.

I would not use armoural on my mower

I don't think the trim restorer that sort of product, If you are looking for a replacement for Armoural, I would try 303 Aerospace protectant.

I use 303 trim restorer. Non greasy and it made the exterior trims on my 12 year old Clubsport come up like new. Also works on interiors, works great on the steering wheel leather. Amazing stuff.

Didn't even know they made a trim restorer, does not surprise me that it is good though.

Gyeon trim is the product that surpasses all. Just buy that from car care products and be done with it

Cheers, will have a look. In saying that, can't imagine my trim looking any better than the product I posted, so will stick with that for now

    Re: Turtle Wax Trim Restorer

Its not all about how it looks. Its really about how long it lasts. Gyeon lasts over 12 months. I've yet to see another product last even half of that. Most only last 3 months at best.
